PERSONAL TRAINING

MOVEMENT MADE FOR THEM

Personal training at Compassionate Hearts & Hands is designed specifically for children, teenagers and young people with disability.

Every session is shaped around the individual, their abilities, interests and goals. Whether we're building strength, improving fitness and coordination, or simply helping them feel more confident with movement, the focus is on making exercise positive, achievable and something they can enjoy.

Movement isn't one-size-fits-all, it should be made for them.

Personal Training
Strength. Confidence. Independence. Believing “I can do this.”

FOR OUR LITTLE MOVERS

For younger children, personal training doesn't have to feel like a traditional workout.
Sessions can include games, play and simple movement challenges to make exercise fun and engaging, while still helping your child work towards their individual goals.
Depending on your child's needs, we can work on strength, balance, coordination, core stability, fitness, movement skills and confidence.
Movement should feel like something they can do — and enjoy.

GROWING UP & FEELING STRONG

As children grow into their teenage years and young adulthood, their goals can grow with them too.
They may want to become stronger, improve their fitness, learn how to exercise, build independence or simply feel more confident in their body.
Personal training gives teens and young people with disability a supportive space to work towards goals that matter to them.
Young people with disability deserve to have their own fitness goals too.

WORKING TOGETHER

Personal training can also work alongside the support your child is already receiving from their allied health team. Where appropriate, goals and recommendations from their physiotherapist, occupational therapist or other allied health professionals can be incorporated into sessions, helping them continue working on movement, strength and functional skills outside of therapy. Different supports. One bigger goal, helping your child thrive.

THEIR GOALS. THEIR ABILITIES. THEIR SESSIONS.

No two sessions need to look the same.
One child might love games, races and movement challenges, while another might prefer structured exercises. An older teen may want their session to feel more like traditional personal training.
Every session is adapted around their abilities, interests, confidence and individual goals.
We celebrate the little wins while working towards the bigger ones.

MORE THAN EXERCISE

Personal training is about more than becoming stronger or fitter.
It's about helping children and young people build confidence, independence and a positive relationship with movement.
I want every child and young person I work with to feel supported to try, learn, grow and discover what they are capable of.

Let's work towards their goals, together.

Every child and young person deserves the opportunity to feel strong, capable and confident in their own way.

Let's chat about their goals and how Personal Training could support them.
