baby sitting and respitecareÂ
CARE THAT FEELS COMFORTABLE, FAMILIAR & FUN.
Babysitting and respite care should be about more than simply having someone there. I want your child to feel comfortable, safe and genuinely enjoy the time we spend together.Â

Whether you need a few hours to yourself, an evening out, support over the weekend or someone you trust to care for your child while you're away, care can be shaped around your family's individual needs and routines.

From playing at home and preparing meals to outings, bedtime routines and overnight stays, my goal is to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible for both you and your child.

A LITTLE TIME FOR YOU
Parents and carers need time for themselves too. Respite care can give you the opportunity to rest, attend appointments, spend time with family, go out for the evening or simply have a break knowing your child is being cared for.
Care can be arranged for a few hours, an evening or longer periods depending on your family's needs.
DISABILITY-INCLUSIVE CARE
Babysitting and respite care is available for children and young people with disability, including those who may require additional support with communication, mobility, routines or everyday activities.
My background in disability support and allied health means I understand that every child's needs can look different. Care is always adapted around the individual child and the information provided by their family and treating team.
ROUTINES THAT FEEL FAMILIAR
From dinner and bath time to medications within my permitted role, bedtime routines and getting ready in the morning, I will follow the routines and instructions you provide as closely as possible.
The aim is for your child's day to continue feeling familiar, predictable and comfortable even while you're away.

MORE THAN JUST BABYSITTING
I want the time I spend with your child to actually be enjoyable for them. We might play games, do arts and crafts, bake, go to the park, watch a movie, play outside or head out into the community.
Every child is different, so I'll take the time to learn what they enjoy, what makes them comfortable and how they like to spend their time.
EVENINGS, OVERNIGHTS & WEEKENDS
Sometimes families need more than a few hours of care. I can provide evening, overnight and weekend support in your child's own home, allowing them to stay somewhere familiar while their usual routines are maintained.
This may be for a parent's night out, a special event, work commitments, a weekend away or simply some well-deserved respite.
CARE BUILT AROUND YOUR FAMILY
There isn't one version of respite or babysitting that works for every family. Some children want lots of activities and adventures, while others are happiest having a quiet night at home.
We'll talk about your child's needs, personality, interests and routines beforehand so their care can be built around them.
